These modalities address imbalance in and around your physical form. Each session includes complimentary single oil aromatherapy (lavender, eucalyptus, or peppermint) and the use of a heated therapy wrap.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CST) ($119/$169)
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, defined as "spiritually guided life force energy." Practitioners acquire "attunements" from certified teachers, and through these attunements become clear channels for the energy. Reiki is not a directed energy--it simply flows to where it is needed.
During the treatment, the client lies comfortably on a massage table while the practitioner performs a series of hand positions designed to address all body systems. The client remains fully clothed , making reiki an effective therapy for trauma survivors. Reiki combines well with other bodywork, such as Swedish massage and Somatic Experiencing® (SE).
Cranio-sacral therapy (CST) was developed by an osteopathic physician, and is an extremely gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and releasing restrictions in the body's craniosacral system (the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord). As restrictions are released, the cerebrospinal fluid can circulate more freely and the central nervous system (and thereby the entire body) is calmed.
As the client lies fully clothed on the massage table, the practitioner uses a series of light hand placements to assist the body with releasing adhesions and restrictions. Clients often report feeling very relaxed and even "spacey" following a treatment. CST can be very effective in treating headaches, chronic neck and back pain, and TMJ, as well as a host of emotional issues.
Physio-Spiritual Etheric Bodywork (PSEB) ($119/$169)
Physio-Spiritual Etheric Bodywork (PSEB) is a therapy developed by reiki master David Jarrell which works with the energy fields around the body. PSEB demonstrates that the chakras, or energy centers of the body, correspond to "subtle body" layers in the auric field. These subtle bodies also correspond to physical body systems. The practitioner works through each subtle body layer, balancing and releasing blockages in the energetic and physical form.
During a PSEB treatment, the client lies fully clothed and comfortable on a massage table. The practitioner makes no physical contact with the client during a treatment, making it a very "safe" feeling therapy.
