You Are Not Alone.
Connect and Heal Via Feeding Your Demons® (FYD).
What is Feeding Your Demons® (FYD)?
Much is shifting on our planet at this time. It is easy to feel helpless in the face of the enormity of our problems. We may understand that action is an antidote, but are unsure how to proceed.
FYD is a guided meditation process which provides a framework for pausing, identifying, engaging with, and distilling a wisdom energy from a problematic feeling or emotion. Our group will offer a supportive, safe container within which to witness and to share experiences.
Why Should I Try FYD?
Feeding Your Demons® (FYD) was developed by Tibetan Buddhist teacher Lama Tsultrim Allione to facilitate the transformation of our stuck emotions. Feelings of shame, hatred, terror, bewilderment, disgust, guilt, jealousy, sorrow, and more can be accessed, “fed,” and processed, unraveling their roots to release the innate wisdom contained within.
Participants report better sleep, increased immune function, greater energy, a reduced stress response, and an increased ability to connect with and communicate with others.
What Happens in an FYD Session?
WHO has been bothering you lately? Of course, other people aren’t our demons, but sometimes it can feel that way. This month, we’ll explore how our emotional reactions to others are often the true source of our distress.
Throughout September, we’ll work with four different people in our lives:
A family member
A friend
A co-worker or neighbor
Someone you don’t know personally
As you consider how you feel about each of these people, you’ll locate that feeling within your body, and describe and personify it. You’ll then dialogue with this personification (“demon”), exploring its true needs.
As you offer, or feed, the underlying need to your demon, you will witness its transformation into an Ally. You will dialogue with this Ally, and receive your Ally’s insights, energy, and light. You’ll finish by releasing and resting.
After a short break to record impressions, individual insights can be shared with the group. Our collective wisdom becomes an additional resource.
What are the FYD Group Details?
We will gather on Zoom for a maximum of 90 minutes, once a week, for four consecutive weeks. You will need two chairs available to move between as directed. Writing materials will allow you to manually record details. As you will be muted during the process, past participants recommend using a voice recording device to more fully capture your reponses.
The exchange rate-mindful price for the four week group is 59€/USD$69/CAD$79/AUD$79. For other currencies or other concerns, please contact me here.
These groups are open to all, regardless of any personal affiliation or identity. You need not be a Buddhist nor have any prior meditation experience. To preserve the privacy of all participants, the sessions will not be recorded. The group will be conducted in English.
Groups are limited to 6 participants; please enroll early to confirm your space.

An important note: I am a licensed massage and bodywork therapist, and I operate within my scope of practice. I work with clients who are of generally sound mental health and who have good support systems. These Feeding Your Demons® (FYD) guided sessions are not a substitute for psychotherapy. If during our time together I feel you may benefit from the assistance of a licensed mental health professional, I will not hesitate to provide those referrals.
